# Reading - 10 marks
# Picture Discussion- 10 marks
# Conversation - 10 marks

Preparation- 5 minutes
You should use the time fruitfully to focus on your reading passage as well as your picture. Usually, the conversation and picture is rather inter-linked. Hence, you could come up with questions in the midst of waiting for your turn inorder to deliver a clean speech later.
Reading Aloud
# Read clearly and loudly. Read with articulation and break long words into syllables so that your delievered speech will be smooth and would ease the ears of the listener.
# Read with expression whenever possible. Example if the sentence has a exclamation mark; " Come here, Justin!" then, you should read in a tone that tells the listener what emotions the person shares. Never read in a monotonous tone because that will bore the listener and you would not get the full points for that segment.
# Pause appropriately at punctuation marks like coma (,) full stop (.) etc.
# Read at the right pace. Students have a tendency to read fast as they posses a mindset ( Must finsh this fast) or read the passage slowly due to anxiety. Thus, regular practice is needed to ace your way in achieving 10/10 for this segment in the Oral Examination.
In conclusion, reading with confidence and regular practice leads you to the path of success. If others can , so can you.
