In this segment, you will be given a topic and will then engage in a conversation on the spot. Fortunately, the topics that the examiner asks will be inter-linked with the passage and picture. Thus, it is advisable for you to prepare some topics before hand in the midst of waiting for your turn.
# Use the present tense.
# Grammatically, your sentences should be correct.
#Try to include your opinions
#Speak from prior experience about the given topic.
# DO NOT tell a white lie.
Example:
Question: Have you ever been to the zoo? Tell us the experience that you had there.
If you had never been to the zoo, then don't say that you had been there. The examiners might probe you further and eventually might know that you told them a white lie. Instead you could
Reply:
I've never been to the zoo but I would love to go there...( continue from here)
# Don't make it a question and answer section. Elaborate your opinions and entice the examiner into your conversation.
# Always mantain eye contact with the examiner.
